After a week in Koh Lanta where we had an amazing time in our private villa close to the beach, we traveled back to Krabi where we would stay another week in Anana Ecological Resort. A brand new hotel surrounded by mountains, close to the beach and Ao Nam Mao where you can find many local markets, restaurants and boutiques.

The hotel was a bit remote, but the peace and quiet made the experience perfect as the hotel is in inspired by nature and really focussed on delivering, high quality and sustainable hospitality. The perfect place to relax and experience a mindful lifestyle.

Next to the hotel you’ll find their own Permaculture Art Farm where they grow vegetables, fruit and herbs to be used for fresh gourmet meals and drinks on the menu.

During our stay in the hotel we really loved the 25m volcanic stone infinity pool, fed by mountain spring water. Also the unique salt crystal spa where you can go for a massage or yoga session is a great place to sit back, relax and give yourself a nice treatment.

Close by the hotel, you can find the beach and a vibrant town where you can eat local dishes and buy souvenirs on local markets. You can easily use one of the shuttles that are driving daily from the hotel towards Ao Nang and back.

During the week we tried to see and do as much in the area as we could, but we also pushed ourselves to relax. Luckily it wasn’t really hard as this accommodation got everything you need to feel chilled and satisfied.

The end of our Thailand trip came closer and we slightly felt the urge to get back to city life. A better place to end a trip is where you started it, back to Bangkok.
