On the Southern side of Cambridge, surrounded by green fields, farms and hilly landscapes, you’ll find the beautiful village Thriplow. On a sunny day in Spring we brought a visit and made a lovely walk through the English countryside.

Our walk started in the centre of the town near the Green Man Pub where you can easily park your car. Along the road you’ll already notice some signs with walking paths that you can follow. It makes clear that places like these are made to explore by foot.

The terrain is a mixed bag of meadow trails, farm tracks and concrete bridleways. Sometimes you’ll need to follow a short stretch along a quiet roadway. But overall it’s a safe and versatile walk. Something we really like, especially when you’re walking with kids. A little bit of adventure makes it more fun.

Keep in mind that this trail can take up almost two hours, so don’t forget to bring some food and drinks with you. Some paths are accessible for scooters, if that will help with younger children than you can bring one with you.
